Quarterly Inspections Must be performed every three months and may include the annual Inspection as one of the quarterly Inspections.
Annual inspections An annual inspection is required for cranes above 3 ton capacity and must be performed by a Cal/OSHA certified crane inspector.
Quadrennial Inspection (Every 4 Years) A quadrennial inspection is required for overhead cranes above 3-ton capacity and must be performed by a Cal/OSHA certified crane inspector. A load test must also be performed at the time of this inspection.

- Immediately following a new installation

- After 6 months or more from the date of the last certification.
